How I 10x My Productivity With This One Technique

I’ve been a writer for more than a year and let me tell you it does not get easier with time. You start with a bucket list of ideas and a sky full of dreams — soon the dreams start becoming a reality but your ideas start running out.

Over the year I’ve seen days where the ideas just won’t come. I spent hours looking at blogs, and videos but the energy runs out and you have to face the facts — you’re running out of time, ideas and focus.

As someone who consumes a lot of online content for both work and personal development, I used to feel like I was constantly treading water, struggling to keep up with the endless flood of information.

At work, I had to go through a load of documents making me feel tired by the end of the day. When it was time for me to pack up and go back home to work on my side projects, I did not have the mindset to sit in front of the screen for another set of hours and go through articles and YouTube videos to look for articles.

The sheer volume of content was enough to make my head spin.

For me, the best way to gather ideas was to research. I looked at the corners of the internet and searched for the right articles, YouTube videos and essays that could give me the push I needed but by the end of the day, I’d find myself staring at a massive backlog of unread blogs and other digital clutter.

No matter how hard I tried to stay organised, the information overload always seemed to get the better of me.

The worst part was the nagging feeling that I was missing out on important insights and all that information would soon be lost in the pile. It’s funny, how everyone always talks about being productive like it is easy but to me, it has always been a task. Until I started using

AI for rescue (probably?)

Seems like the easiest solution. You give platforms like Claude and ChatGPT a couple of prompts and they give you the information right away. It worked like a charm, well, in the beginning. The worst parts were

  • Always looking for the right prompts. You might call it unappreciative but AI is like a kid — you have to tell them exactly what you want if you want to get the right results. If I wanted to summarise any information — I first had to copy the information which in itself is not an easy task then give it the right prompts. The answers were always chaotic, too robotic and did not feel right.
  • I cannot get information on websites. As part of my job, I had to look up information for organisations. Not to understand them well, I had to copy selective information from their websites and then give the prompts
  • Working with links, especially videos was a nightmare. You know how you cannot ask these platforms to summarise YouTube videos. Now for videos that are under 10 minutes is still fine, But if it is a video that is over 30 minutes, it usually meant I had to spend that time with a notepad making sure I captured everything. Not always have the time to go through this process.

But to my surprise, I found the right platform. I stumbled upon ReadPartner when I was looking for a Chrome extension that could help me summarise websites and find something even better.

ReadPartner for rescue (really)

I discovered ReadPartner and it has completely transformed the way I collect information.

The first thing that impressed me about ReadPartner was its ability to summarise literally anything. It could be a document, article, website or even video.

I finally found the one platform that could do it all instead of juggling between different links for the same purpose.

I could create lightning-fast, customisable summaries within seconds. I would still read the articles for my knowledge and look at the videos but when it came to getting the gist of most things, I used ReadPartner to give me the right information in just the right manner. Instead of time reading through lengthy articles or watching hour-long videos, I got a concise, tailored overview in a matter of seconds. Whether I needed a high-level summary or a more detailed breakdown, ReadPartner had me covered.

How did this help?

It saves me time, lots of it. As I mentioned as a writer I have to maintain my Twitter, Instagram and especially this blog and there are times I did run out of ideas.

I first tried ReadPartner for free then bought the pro plan within 2 weeks. I could summarise as many videos and articles as possible and with them, I never ran out of ideas. I was able to make a repository of 100s of ideas with its help that had my content covered for months. I was able to save hours each day and boost my productivity.

But the real game-changer was also the Chrome extension, which allowed me to instantly summarise any website, PDF, or video with just a single click. I set my preferred language and even tailored the responses like if I wanted an easy fast summary or I wanted an in-depth smarter summary. I could also set the response length based on my preference.

As I started integrating ReadPartner into my daily routine, I noticed a change in my work. I was no more worried about what I should write next or where my ideas came from. Instead of feeling like I was drowning in a sea of digital clutter, I felt in control and empowered to make the most of the content I was consuming.

The Chrome extension was embedded into my systems and I did not have to search for it. Like when I wanted to summarise hour-long YouTube videos, I could find ReadPartner’s summarise button right on the screen

The platform’s ability to track my reading and viewing history, as well as provide detailed usage analytics, was also amazing. I could finally see patterns in my information-gathering habits, identify the topics and sources I was most engaged with, and make more informed decisions about where to focus my attention.

Is it worth it?

For the value it gives? 100% yes. See everyone will suggest your systems it is upon you to check what actually works for you. What I liked about ReadPartner was that they don’t overcomplicate things. They built this platform for one thing — saving time and simplifying media.

And I loved that, I no longer had to sit for hours just to create notes and sit through documents to pull out the most valuable information. ReadPartner helps me fill up the blank page

You can get started with ReadPartner in less than a minute.

  • Simply visit their website at ReadPartner
  • Create your account. You can use Google Signup too

You can get started for absolutely free and try out the platform for yourself. That’s what I did, but the free account comes with limited requests, so I upgraded my account to pro (which you can do from your account too!)

If you, like me, have been struggling to keep up with the ever-expanding universe of digital content, I highly recommend trying ReadPartner. It may just be the productivity-boosting, information-retaining tool you’ve been searching for all along.
